Ofer Tal was born in Haifa, Israel, 04.05.1974 and studied piano for seven years as a young boy. He developed a taste for vinyl records, collecting since he was ten years old. Uri was Born in the desert city of Dimona, Israel 19.09.1974. Picked up the guitar at age ten. started buying records with his own pocket money when he was 11. Performed and recorded as a guitarist / lead vocalist in rock bands through high school until he was twenty-four. Moving to Tel Aviv in 1995 he started working at a music store where he got the funk and was exposed to electronic music. ofer Moved to Tel Aviv in 1999 and started playing little gigs as a DJ. He began to develop his musical and sensitive style of scratching in various underground Tel Aviv bands. He joined saxophonist Eran Green's Jazz/Funk/Jungle band, The Green Room, which included drummer Yoni Halevy. The two later joined with bass player Shai Ran and keyboardist Asaf Flummendorf and formed a quartet called The Scarecrows. At the same time, Uri and ofer, Influenced by turntablism and cut & paste music, began experimenting with cutting loops, recording and mixing at home. Uri started DJing too. In 2001 they printed a home-made 40 minutes demo under the name "Schoolmaster vs. MixMonster". it was titled : "RadioTrip" - the title that has become, later, the name for the duo. The demo was well accepted by tel aviv's 106fm radio station and in 2002 the guys got their own weekly Radio show called..."Radio Trip". In January of 2003 they released their widely acclaimed debut album "Now What You Hear Is Not A Test". They won the third place on the 2005 City DJ ("DJ Ha Ear") awards in the hip-hop and funk category. Ofer won the 2005 israeli freestyle DJs championship!!!. In 2003, together with Yoni, Shai and few more excellent musician they formed the funk/jazz/scratch band "The Apples". Ofer plays the turntables, and Uri is the soundman in the band. With "The apples" they released 2 albums: MITZ(2003) and Attention!(2005), have been touring Israel successfully, and will tour Europe in the summer of 2006.
